CLT Freedom Park Proposal

Hi, Hello, Friends! 🤓
I got to step way outside my comfort
zone and I am so glad that I did.
A local mom posted in our group asking if anyone
would come to Freedom Park on Saturday to hand
her girlfriend roses leading to a proposal spot. It
was late, not many people had responded, and I
just felt it in my heart that I had to say.YES,
absolutely!
And as ALWAYS the universe was NOT done. I also
felt a nudge to offer to capture the moment for
them free of course. I was honest that
photographing humans isn’t my usual niche (I’m
more of a landscapes, lakes, rivers, animals, bugs,
small business promos, and my own mini humans or
friends in their candid lives kind of photographer).

But my heart is WIRED for service, and I
AM learning safe ways to give without depleting
myself. I dusted off and prepared my girlie Canon6D and
went on an adventure.
It turned out to be such a beautiful experience.
Strangers stopped to watch. Other humans even
jumped in to help hand out roses.
I ran around like an invisible minx trying to catch all
the angles but I kept pausing to take it all in.
Humans, coming together in the middle of the park,
to witness strangers’ love.
That is a deeply profound truly special human
experience. Raw. Real. Beautiful.
